EDUCATION & TRAINING
TERMS & CONDITIONS


These Terms & Conditions apply to all education, training and professional development activities provided by LymphEd Australia Pty Ltd trading as Lymphoedema Therapy, Training & Education (LTTE), unless otherwise stated. This includes online courses, face-to-face courses, workshops, webinars, digital learning products and other educational services.

1. Purpose
This Student Enrolment Agreement outlines the conditions of enrolment for all education programs, online courses, face-to-face courses, workshops, webinars and professional development activities delivered by LymphEd Australia Pty Ltd trading as Lymphoedema Therapy, Training & Education (LTTE).

The purpose of this Agreement is to ensure a clear understanding of the rights and responsibilities of both LTTE and its students, while maintaining the high professional and educational standards expected of all participants.

2. Scope
This Agreement applies to all individuals enrolling in education or training activities delivered by LTTE, unless a separate written agreement has been provided for a specific program.

Where additional course-specific requirements apply, these will be published within the relevant course information or enrolment documentation.

3. Eligibility
Certain education programs have minimum entry requirements.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring they meet the published eligibility requirements before enrolling.

Where eligibility criteria apply, applicants must:

  • review the published eligibility requirements;
  • provide accurate and truthful information;
  • complete any required eligibility declarations;
  • provide evidence of qualifications or professional registration if requested.

LTTE reserves the right to refuse or cancel an enrolment where eligibility requirements are not met or where false or misleading information has been provided.

4. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed once:

  • the required enrolment documentation has been completed;
  • any applicable eligibility requirements have been met;
  • this Student Enrolment Agreement has been accepted;
  • payment arrangements have been confirmed.

Receipt of an enquiry or enrolment form does not automatically guarantee a place in a course or workshop.

Places are allocated in accordance with course availability.

5. Course Information
LTTE aims to ensure all information provided regarding courses, workshops and webinars is accurate at the time of publication.

From time to time, course content, presenters, schedules, resources or delivery methods may be updated to maintain educational quality or respond to changes in clinical practice.

These changes do not reduce the educational value of the program.

6. Fees and Payment
Current fees are published on the relevant course information page and/or detailed on the student's invoice.

Payment options vary between education programs and will be outlined during the enrolment process.

Where progressive payment arrangements are offered, access to course materials or attendance at practical components may be subject to payment milestones.

Students are responsible for ensuring all outstanding fees are paid in accordance with the agreed payment arrangements.

7. Refunds, Cancellations and Deferrals
Online Courses and Digital Resources
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not available once access has been granted unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

This includes access to:

  • online learning modules;
  • downloadable PDF resources;
  • educational videos;
  • templates;
  • workbooks;
  • digital resources.

Where course-specific refund conditions apply, these will be clearly stated during the enrolment process.

Nothing within this Agreement limits any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

  • behave professionally and respectfully;
  • participate honestly in assessments and learning activities;
  • maintain confidentiality regarding patients, case studies and fellow participants;
  • practise within the scope of their professional qualification;
  • communicate respectfully with LTTE staff, presenters and fellow students;
  • comply with all published course requirements.

9. Scope of Practice
Completion of an LTTE education program does not alter, extend or replace a participant's professional scope of practice.

Graduates remain responsible for ensuring they practise within the requirements of their profession, employer, professional indemnity insurer, registration authority and applicable legislation.
LTTE makes no representation that completion of an education program automatically satisfies the requirements of any third party.

10. Intellectual Property
All educational materials developed by LTTE remain the intellectual property of LymphEd Australia Pty Ltd.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • videos;
  • presentations;
  • downloadable resources;
  • templates;
  • assessments;
  • clinical forms;
  • graphics;
  • written materials.

These resources are provided solely for the personal educational use of the enrolled participant.

They must not be copied, reproduced, shared, uploaded, distributed, sold or used for teaching purposes without prior written permission.

11. Privacy
LTTE collects and manages personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy (POL-002).

12. Complaints
Students are encouraged to raise concerns promptly.

Complaints and appeals are managed in accordance with LTTE's Complaints & Appeals Policy (POL-007).

13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing contained within this Agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
By proceeding with enrolment and selecting the acceptance checkbox during the online checkout process, the student confirms that they have:

  • read and understood the Education and Training Terms and Conditions;
  • agree to be bound by its terms and conditions;
  • meet any published eligibility requirements applicable to the course;
  • understand that additional course-specific requirements may apply where stated.

For online enrolments, the electronic acceptance recorded during the checkout process constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
